Time has flown by, November was full of work and time with family. It’s hard to believe we are in December already. As the advent season is upon us, many will start their countdown to Christmas; we are beginning our departure count down - Dec 31st we are flying out of Houston, Texas. But before we get ahead of ourselves, here is an overview of what has been happening this month.

At the beginning of November, we moved into hotel Creekmore, also known as John and Sheila’s (Mark’s parents) home. It has been such a sweet time. Of course, I am biased, but I seriously have the best in-laws, and my kids have the most incredible Papa and Nini. We have definitely increased the volume of their household in both size and sound. We spent the last part of the month in Witchita, Kansas, with Mark’s sister Melanie’s family and celebrated Thanksgiving there!

While we were in Kansas, Mark had the opportunity to speak to teenagers at Trinity Christian Academy about Teen Missions. Here are some photos and testimonials from the kids:

Family Update Time

The babies are turning six months old this month and growing into their personalities more and more each day. My personal favourite thing is that they have learned to laugh. It’s ridiculously adorable.

Lia has really learned to be brave this month. She missed her old stomping grounds of Chicago but has embraced the new season in Amory. The other night she prayed, ‘Thank you, God for the planets and for Mississippi.’

George is my prepared child and has been packing and repacking his bag for Australia. He has loved being back with family. Cousins are the best!

As for Mark and I, we have been reminded of the beauty of being dependent. Western culture and particularly big city culture, praise being independent and self-sufficient. While these attributes have value, stepping out in faith, raising financial support, and allowing ourselves to be vulnerable to God’s provision have provided deep gratitude, knowing it’s not us but God- the Lord of all. He has provided in so many ways.

Financial Update

One such way is through financial partnerships with others. We are halfway to meeting our financial support goal of 3,200 dollars a month. We are so humbled by people’s interest and willingness to invest with us in training up the next generation of faithful followers of Christ. Thank you all so very much! Praise be to God!!!

If you feel convicted, prayerfully consider partnering with us so that we can reach our support-raising goals.

Other Praise Points

  • There are more Australians in our family now, with all four children becoming dual citizens - American Australians 🇦🇺🦘

  • It has been so wonderful meeting with people we haven’t seen in a while. After living away from loved ones, it has been a gift to spend time catching up with old friends.

Prayer Requests

  • Wisdom in parenting through this season of transition.

  • Trust in God’s ongoing faithfulness and provision

  • Sleep!! Life with babies can be fun but tiring.

We will be in Amory, MS, in December. We would love to see you and give you a hug goodbye if you’re in the area!
