Greetings from Teen Missions Int’l Australia! It's hard to believe it's been a whole year since we embarked on this ministry journey, and we're thrilled to gear up for the arrival of students in just under a month. The anticipation for the opening of Journey Bible College has been a long time coming, with students scheduled to join us on the 31st of January and orientation kicking off shortly after on the 1st of February. We have poured our hearts and souls into building the foundation of the mission college in 2023. Thank you for your prayers and support in helping us to make this dream a reality!
This is what we looked like on our first day vs last week.
Right now, we're fully immersed in our summer short-term missions program, with three teams currently out in the field making an impact in the Solomon Islands, Madagascar, and Fiji. For detailed updates on the incredible work happening within each team, you can follow these team updates at facebook.com/teenmissionsaustralia.

These dedicated teams will return on the 16th of January for a week of debriefing before our focus shifts back home in preparation for the new school year. This debriefing period is crucial; it offers our teens a space to process their summer experiences while receiving guidance on bridging those experiences with their daily lives back home. Mark will be coordinating this debrief and its associated classes, while Lily will oversee the catering for the week. A special shoutout to Lily’s mom for graciously looking after our wonderful tribe of children during this time.
Our recent Christmas celebration marked a significant moment for us. It has been over a decade since Lily had the opportunity to celebrate Christmas with her family, and hosting it this year was truly special. It made us deeply appreciative of the thoughtfulness and care shown by those who hosted Christmas for us in years past. To Sheila, Nana, Patsy, Sha, Emma-Kate, and Warner—thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
As we bid farewell to 2023, we're filled with a profound sense of gratitude for God's kindness and grace. This year has been a foundation-building phase for the Bible College, witnessing incredible growth in our children and navigating various health issues and changes. None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of all of you. Words fall short in expressing our eternal gratitude and the privilege we feel to have your ongoing support.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
